This is the first exhibition made by Holy Mariia.
Inspiration for the exhibition came after creating a premier shirt for an Instagram post, it consisted of a drawing of a uterus, which in turn got a lot of hype around it.
During post creation, I experienced real emotional dissonance; shyness and pride, misunderstanding and support, disgust and delight.
Still, in 2021, the topic of accepting yourself, your body, and femininity is relevant.
In this exhibition, I would love to meet face-to-face with the taboo topic of femininity and all its aspects.
The preparation of the items took approximately a month.
I haven’t painted for several years, so please don’t judge too much)).
At the exhibition, you will be able to observe some acrylic drawings, installation of the uterus, and the sale of these painted shirts.
